Pokémon move priority

Higher-priority moves act before lower-priority moves. Within a bracket, Speed normally decides order. Most moves have priority 0. Some effects change a move’s bracket: Grassy Glide rises from base priority 0 to +1 in Grassy Terrain while its user is grounded.
