Trick House Guide: All 8 Puzzles in Ruby, Sapphire & Emerald
Every Trick House puzzle on Route 110: when each of the 8 unlocks, the HMs you need, where the Trick Master hides, and all rewards up to the final tent.
The Trick House is an eight-part side quest on Route 110, between Slateport City and Mauville City. Each visit hides the Trick Master, opens a new maze and ends with a reward. This guide lists every unlock, requirement, prize, hiding place and secret code.
How the Trick House works
- Find the Trick Master Search the entrance room until the hidden Trick Master reveals himself.
- Enter behind the wall scroll Use the passage behind the scroll after the Trick Master opens the maze.
- Copy the secret code Find the second scroll inside the maze and read its code.
- Unlock the final door Write the code on the locked door, meet the Trick Master and collect the reward.

The final puzzle and reward
Puzzle 8 opens after entering the Hall of Fame. Clear its sliding floors to receive a secret-base tent: Red in Ruby, Blue in Sapphire, or your choice of the two in Emerald. The Trick Master then leaves a note and departs. Check beneath his final cushion for a hidden Nugget.

- Do I need Flash or the Mach Bike?
- No. Cut, Rock Smash and Strength are the only required field moves.

- No. Each puzzle reward is collected once.
