Ultra Space Wilds: Every Legendary in Ultra Sun & Moon

How to reach Ultra Space Wilds in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon by Ultra Warp Ride, which wormhole leads where, and all 37 Legendaries by world.
Published
Ultra Space Wilds is where Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon hide almost every Legendary Pokémon from earlier generations, including Landorus, Rayquaza and Mewtwo. It has no door on the Alola map. You fly there on the Ultra Warp Ride from the Ride Pager, almost anywhere outdoors in Alola, once the main story is over. The color of the wormhole you dive into decides which of the four worlds you land in.
- Game
- Ultra Sun Ultra Moon
- Where
- Ultra Space Wilds: Cliff, Rocky, Water and Cave World. There is no entrance on the map.
- You need
- Ultra Warp Ride on the Ride Pager (post-game) and, for five Legendaries, a specific pair in your party
- The payoff
- 37 Legendary Pokémon, each one per save file
How to get to Ultra Space Wilds
- Finish the story The Ultra Warp Ride first appears during the story. Legendary Pokémon only wait in Ultra Space Wilds once you have entered the Hall of Fame, so beat the Pokémon League first.
- Open the Ride Pager outdoors Choose Ultra Warp Ride from the Ride Pager. It works almost anywhere outdoors in Alola, so the island you start from does not matter.
- Fly far, then pick the color Steer through the wormholes. The further you travel (shown in light-years), the rarer the holes that appear. Fly into a hole of the color of the world you want: red for Cliff World, green for Rocky World, blue for Water World, yellow for Cave World.
- Look for the silhouette A Legendary shows itself before you reach it: a shadow in the sky in Cliff World, a shape behind the waterfall in Water World, a figure on the clifftop in Rocky World. Walk up to it to start the battle.
Wormhole colors, rings and light-years
Holes come in four tiers: plain, one ring, two rings and a flower-shaped aura. The higher the tier, the better your chance of a Legendary (and of a Shiny). Distance raises how often the high tiers appear and stops helping at 5,000 light-years. An aura hole always holds a Legendary, as long as one you have not caught is still waiting in that world.
Tip — Ride to 5,000 light-years first: Dodge the hazards and keep flying until the counter passes 5,000 before you commit to a hole. Every high-tier hole you see after that has the best odds the ride can give.
Every Legendary in Ultra Space Wilds, by world
Warning — Five Legendaries need a pair in your party: Landorus appears only with Tornadus and Thundurus in your party, Rayquaza with Groudon and Kyogre, Suicune with Raikou and Entei, Kyurem with Reshiram and Zekrom, and Giratina with Dialga and Palkia. Each pair is split across the two versions, so one of the two has to come by trade.

Ultra Space Wilds: quick answers
- How do you get to Ultra Space Wilds in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon?
- Use the Ultra Warp Ride from the Ride Pager, almost anywhere outdoors in Alola, and fly into a wormhole. There is no fixed entrance on the map.
- Where is Landorus in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon?
- In Ultra Space Wilds, Cliff World (red wormholes), after the Hall of Fame. It only appears with Tornadus and Thundurus in your party; Tornadus is Ultra Sun only and Thundurus Ultra Moon only.
- Which Ultra Wormhole color leads to which world?
- Red leads to Cliff World, green to Rocky World, blue to Water World and yellow to Cave World.
- How far do you have to fly on the Ultra Warp Ride for Legendaries?
- The further the better, up to 5,000 light-years; past that the odds stop improving. Ringed holes and flower-aura holes are where Legendaries appear.
- Can you catch every Legendary in one version of Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon?
- No. Eighteen are split between the versions (for example Ho-Oh in Ultra Sun and Lugia in Ultra Moon), so a full set needs a trade.
